Do I need a referral from GP to seek gynaecological advice or opinion/consultation?
No, you do not need a referral from a GP to seek gynaecological advice or consultation. You can directly book an appointment with a gynaecologist for expert advice, diagnosis, and treatment. However, if you have private health insurance, it’s advisable to check with your provider, as some insurers may require a GP referral for coverage purposes.
Does ‘Digital First’ approach of consultation by eGynaecologist mean I can only see consultant remotely?
No. That is not always the case. You can choose to see consultant face to face for your first appointment if you prefer or need face to face appointment in clinic. You can choose to see our consultants at our Harley Street clinic or other locations.
How can I see doctor FTF?
You can see a doctor face-to-face (FTF) by booking an in-person consultation through our platform. Simply schedule an appointment at a convenient time and location that suits you. Book Online or Call to book an appointment.
Do I have to need to complete ‘Pre-consultation Questionnaire’ before I see the Consultant?
Yes. You will be asked to complete the Pre-consultation questionnaire through a Patient Portal link, which allows us to navigate your appointment to best suited clinic. It will only take you 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Which Health Insurance providers are consultants registered?
Our consultants are registered with all major health insurance providers in the UK. If you have health insurance, we recommend checking with your provider to confirm coverage for gynaecological consultations. You can also contact our team for assistance in verifying insurance eligibility.
