We offer comprehensive remote video or telephone appointments, designed to provide women with accessible, expert healthcare from the comfort of their own homes. We also run evening ‘extended hours’ remote clinics to best suit your busy working lives. Preventive Gynaecology

Emphasizing on preventive gynaecology is not just beneficial but it’s essential to reduce the disease burden. In gynaecology, it saves lives and empowers women to take control of their health besides reducing inequalities due to lack of timely access. eGynaecologist helps you take charge of your reproductive and gynaecological health through preventive care for long-term well-being.

Why preventive actions?
  • Delayed diagnosis and treatment in progressive conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, menopause or osteoporosis often result in long-term implications in women health. A pro-active preventive approach makes sense to reduce morbidity of these conditions in your reproductive and post-reproductive life.
  • Approximately 30% of women do not participate in cervical screening are at risk of developing cervical cancer. Increasing screening uptake and access to HPV vaccination throughout reproductive years can address this gap in cervical care and cancer prevention.
  • UK rates of syphilis and gonorrhoea hit record highs in 2022, with young women disproportionately affected. Regular sexual screening (annual or new relationships) and education are critical to curb transmission and complications e.g., infertility. Easy and suitable access to contraception vitalises optimum sexual health practice.
  • Uterine fibroids affect up to 70% of White women and 80% of Black women by the age of 50 years and yet the healthcare burden of fibroids is the least informed issue in women health and its impact on menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, fertility and pregnancy are not routinely monitored. Cancerous change in fibroids is rare but carries poor outcome and nonetheless no strategies exist to identify at risk women. There is a growing argument to screen and monitor gynaecological health needs associated with fibroids
  • The pelvis holds critical organs (uterus, bladder, bowel) supported by pelvic floor muscles, however, 1 in 3 UK women suffer pelvic floor issues and yet less than 15% seek help due to embarrassment. Pelvic floor dysfunction often leads to incontinence, prolapse and hampers the sexual wellbeing, highlighting the need to protect pelvic floor health.
