Ellie is an experienced, HCPC-registered Genetic Counsellor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of their genetic health. With a strong focus on hereditary cancer syndromes, including Lynch syndrome and Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC), she provides clear, compassionate guidance to support informed decision-making and proactive health management.
Drawing on extensive experience in cancer genetics and prenatal genetics, Ellie specialises in helping women understand their inherited risks and the options available for early detection and prevention.
In the prenatal setting, she supports women at every step—from discussing the scope and limitations of Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) to offering detailed counselling around diagnostic procedures such as CVS or amniocentesis. She also provides expert pre- and post-test counselling for carrier screening and parental karyotypes.
She believes in a proactive, personalised approach to care, working alongside women and their gynaecologist to create a powerful, preventative health plan based on their unique DNA. Her role is to be the advocate and interpreter in the complex world of genetics. Ellie is committed to ensure women feel informed, supported, and empowered to take charge of their health destiny.
